Reason: no proper fuel pumps, no properly spaced food outlets, no proper urinals. Overall, a highway made and inaugurated by someone hurriedly and without using brains, if they have any.

That was a mistake. No way was it enough time to arrive and park, walk the 10-minute distance to the entrance, and then wait in the long security lines (separate for men and women) in order to get in. It was an hour from the time we left our hotel until we got our first glimpse of the Taj. Given that the morning was cloudy and overcast, there wasn’t much of a sunrise to see. However, the experience is still mesmerizing. But I would urge anyone going to set out much earlier in order to avoid disappointment.
