PICK-UP:
Taj Luxury Tours team will pick you up from your hotel, the airport, or the train station in Delhi. A professional chauffeur and tour guide will accompany you throughout your journey to explore the vibrant capital of India.

RED FORT (LAL QILA):

This UNESCO World Heritage site is a powerful symbol of India’s Mughal legacy. Commissioned by Emperor Shah Jahan in 1638, the Red Fort served as the main residence of the Mughal emperors for nearly 200 years. The majestic red sandstone walls enclose impressive structures like the Diwan-i-Aam, Diwan-i-Khas, Rang Mahal, and Moti Masjid. The fort is a testimony to architectural brilliance, blending Persian, Timurid, and Indian styles.

JAMA MASJID:

Located near the Red Fort, the Jama Masjid is one of the largest mosques in India. Built between 1644 and 1656 by Shah Jahan, this majestic mosque can accommodate over 25,000 worshippers in its courtyard. The red sandstone and white marble structure features three grand gates, four towers, and two 40-meter high minarets.

RAJ GHAT:

A simple yet powerful memorial, Raj Ghat marks the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation. The black marble platform is surrounded by peaceful gardens and eternal flame, offering visitors a moment of reflection.

INDIA GATE & PRESIDENT’S HOUSE (DRIVE PAST):

A war memorial built in honor of the Indian soldiers who died during World War I, India Gate stands tall at 42 meters. From here, enjoy a panoramic drive past the grand boulevards of New Delhi, including the Parliament House, Secretariat Buildings, and Rashtrapati Bhavan (President’s House).

LUNCH BREAK:

Our representative will take you to one of Delhi’s top restaurants for a lunch experience that suits your taste. Whether you prefer North Indian flavors, Mughlai cuisine, or a simple vegetarian thali, our team will ensure you enjoy the local culinary delights in a comfortable setting.

QUTUB MINAR:

This towering minaret, standing at 73 meters, is another UNESCO World Heritage Site and a masterpiece of Indo-Islamic architecture. Built in 1193 by Qutb-ud-din Aibak, this red sandstone structure features intricate carvings and verses from the Quran. The surrounding Qutub Complex includes ancient mosques and the Iron Pillar, which has stood rust-free for centuries.

HUMAYUN’S TOMB:

Often regarded as the precursor to the Taj Mahal, Humayun’s Tomb is a stunning example of Persian-influenced Mughal architecture. Built in 1570 by his wife, Empress Bega Begum, this UNESCO-listed monument sits in the middle of a charbagh (four-square) garden and reflects a perfect blend of symmetry, geometry, and heritage.

LOTUS TEMPLE (EXTERIOR VISIT):

An architectural marvel and a symbol of peace, the Bahá’í House of Worship, commonly known as the Lotus Temple, is shaped like a lotus flower with 27 petals. Open to people of all faiths, it offers a tranquil environment perfect for reflection and meditation.

EVENING DROP-OFF:

After a day full of exploration and cultural immersion, guests will be dropped back at their hotel, train station, or airport with unforgettable memories of Delhi’s rich history and vibrant culture.
