AGRA FORT:-Agra Fort is a UNESCO World Heritage site located in Agra, India. The fort is also known as LalQila, Fort Rouge and Red Fort of Agra. It is about 2.5 km northwest of its much more famous sister monument, the TajMahal. The fort can be more accurately described as a walled palatial city.
Agra Fort built by Akbar in Red Sandstone when he was through with the consolidation of his power after accession to power in 1654, Agra Fort worked both as a military strategic point as well as the royal residence.

Often described as a “jewel box”, sometimes called the “Baby Tāj”, the tomb of I’timād-ud-Daulah is often regarded as a draft of the TājMahal. Along with the main building, the structure consists of numerous outbuildings and gardens.
TAJ SUNSET (MEHTAB GARDEN):- The MehtabBagh garden was the last of eleven Mughal-built gardens along the Yamuna opposite the Taj Mahal and the Agra Fort, the first being Ram Bagh. It is mentioned that this garden was built by Emperor Babur (d. 1530).It is also noted that Emperor Shah Jahanhad identified a site from the crescent-shaped, grass-covered floodplain across the Yamuna River as an ideal location for viewing the Taj Mahal.

No way was it enough time to arrive and park, walk the 10-minute distance to the entrance, and then wait in the long security lines (separate for men and women) in order to get in. It was an hour from the time we left our hotel until we got our first glimpse of the Taj. Given that the morning was cloudy and overcast, there wasn’t much of a sunrise to see. However, the experience is still mesmerizing. But I would urge anyone going to set out much earlier in order to avoid disappointment.
